WINE CHARACTERISTICS
Tasting notes
Red-colored wine with purplish highlights. The nose is dominated by cherries in spirit and violets, accompanied by fine spicy hints. On the finish, along with the tannins, the red fruit notes typical of the grape variety return.
Food pairings
Goes well with savory red meat dishes and aged cheeses. Serving temperature 16-18°C.
Territory
The Langhe are located in the southern part of Piedmont. The name means “tongues of land” and refers to the elongated hills, oft en with very steep sides, arranged so that they run parallel to each other to form many deep, narrow valleys.
